  4. Companies that wish to compete in any of the fun team activities must sign up prior to the event.  There will be an option on this site to sign up your company team.

  5. Those companies who sign up ten (10) or more registrants on their team will receive two (2) additional FREE entries.  These entries are not cumulative and only apply to two new entries to the team.

Overall Scoring and Team Sizes

  1. Team sizes categories are:

  2. SMALL TEAM: 4-12 registered (top 4 finishers count for overall team score)

  3. MEDIUM TEAM: 13-30 registered (top 8 finishers count for overall team score)

  4. LARGE TEAM: 30+ registered (top 15 finishers count for overall team score)

Scoring by Sector

  1. Companies will also be scored according to their industry sector (Finance, Legal, Medical, etc..)

  2. Top four (4) finish times will be averaged to score each team, regardless of size. (only applies when determining fastest teams for each sector, not overall scored times).

Challenges to Other Company Teams

One of the exciting aspects of participating in the Corporate Challenge is the ability to issue challenges to rival companies! You can challenge another team in any of the events on race day or by having the fastest overall time, fastest in your sector, or biggest team participation - that goes for training group participation, too.

How challenges work:

You can challenge another company by contacting them and letting them know that your company team has signed up for the event and would like to challenge them.

Challenges can include:

  1. Having a faster overall time than the other company (both company teams must be in the same size bracket or challenge will be rendered null)

  2. Having a faster time in your company sector than the other company

  3. Winning a Corporate Challenge team event over the other company (e.g., cell phone toss, backpacker dash, tug of war, etc....)

  4. Having more registered team members on your team than the other company

  5. Greater training group participation over the other company

  6. Anything else that can spark friendly competition at the event. Please inform us by contacting info@mycorporatechallenge.com so we can verify and publish the challenge.

  7. • The reward for the challenge will be predetermined by both companies before the challenge takes place.  Remember, this is all in fun spirit and to also promote team camaraderie - please keep the rewards reasonable!

  8. • Each challenge will be published on our website, e-mail updates, and in select print media.  The winning companies of all the challenges shall be featured after the race - so this is a good opportunity to get your company team noticed!

  9. • Your company can issue an OPEN challenge if it cannot find another company on its own to team up against. Please notify us at info@mycorporatechallenge.com and we will publish that your company is looking for another company to challenge with. If a company is interested in taking up your challenge notify us and we will inform your company.

  10. • ALL challenges must be approved by the Corporate Challenge.  We will have a page on our site called ‘Challenges’ that will list all existing challenges for the 2010 event.  Once you have submitted your challenge, we will review and confirm it by notifying both companies and listing the challenge on the Challenge page.
